The whole crowd plays as one team or can be segmented into 2 or more teams for a local competition. The reward system and consumer contact are team-based only.
Online features can optionally be used for competitive crowd & city rankings and for realtime competitions with crowds at other locations.
Playalong Crowd Games
The crowds play along with linear game contents on big screens by using mobile apps, which are triggered by specially encoded audio signals. This technology is also usable for individuals at home watching TV, radio and web broadcasts.
Each one plays individually and maybe for a team with his/her personal small screen. The reward system and consumer contact are individual.
Online features can optionally be used for user conversion, competitive user & team rankings and other gamification features.
Local Massive Multiplayer Games
The crowds interact with games on big screens by using mobile apps, which are connected with a local or online game server. That’s massive multiplayer action at ONE location.
Each one plays individually and for a team (or the whole crowd) with his/her personal small screen as controller and additional user interface. User avatars, their actions and scores are showing up on the big screen in realtime. The reward system and consumer contact are individual.
